During 2010 and 2011 final year students in UCD School of Architecture carried out a study of Mountjoy Square in association with the Council’s Conservation Officer.

The Dangerous Buildings section has been dealing with the danger posed by two buildings, Nos. 5 and 6 Benburb Street, following a fire which broke out on St. Patrick’s Day.
