We’re looking forward to Open House Dublin 2021 which is organised by the Irish Architecture Foundation and there are plenty of Dublin City Council buildings you can see up close this year:

• Ballybough House: a pilot project to provide an energy efficiency retrofit in a Protected Structure

• Newly completed terrace of homes at Margaret Kennedy Road (St.Teresa’s Gardens)

• A walk to discuss climate change and the design of the public realm.

• New homes provided in a reconstructed terrace at Nos. 2-5 Ballybough Road

• The Mansion House, historic residence of the Lord Mayor.

• The historic City Fruit & Vegetable Markets beside Capel Street.

• A chance to see Pigeon House Power Station up close. You can also see a 2021 Site Specific Film on Pigeon House Power Station with a premiere Saturday 16th at 6pm at Lighthouse Cinema and screenings at IAF HQ and on the website and Vimeo.
