Dublin has an incredible wealth of historic ironwork and this weekend there’s a great opportunity to learn more about it.

An extraordinary variety of ironwork survives across the city and provides a distinctive character to our historic streetscapes – this special exhibition provided by  DCC City Architects/Conservation in No. 8 Merrion Square shows the origins and legacy of our Georgian Ironwork . A free walking map is available to inspire you to discover for yourself this wonderful craftsmanship.
